Before you get a spray tan, make sure you are ready for your session-

AT LEAST 24 HOURS BEFORE YOUR SUNLESS TAN:

Exfoliate. Exfoliate. Exfoliate.

We cannot overstress the importance of pre-session exfoliation. 24 hours prior to your session, clear away any dry, dead skin cells with a ph balancing scrub. This is important to ensure even color and long lasting results.

Protect your skin’s PH levels

Avoid using bar soaps, high ph shower products, or in shower moisturizers. These products can interfere with the DHA bronzing reaction in the skin.

Hair removal

Avoid shaving, waxing, or use of depilatory creams for at least 24 hours prior to your session.

THE DAY OF YOUR SUNLESS TAN:

Don’t create sunless barriers

Skip the lotion and makeup. While moisturizing your skin in the days following your tanning session can make it last longer, applying moisturizers and lotions can interfere with the bronzing spray absorbing into your skin. If you do wear makeup the day of your tan, remove it before spray tanning to get the most even tan on your face. Also, use deodorant sparingly. Believe it or not, it could interact with the spray and turn your armpits a not-so-fab shade of green.

Remove any make up prior to the sunless treatment

Arrive prepared

Wear lose-fitting, dark clothing to your session (preferably cotton). Also, be sure to remove all jewelry and leave it off until your tan is set. This will prevent your clothes and jewelry from rubbing against your skin and smudging your tan or your clothing being stained by the tanning spray.

Brenda Wilkinson

Brenda has over 16 years of experience. She has recently moved into the Allegan area, and we are overjoyed to have her join our team. Brenda has experience in waxing, Manicures, Pedicures, Color, Cuts, Makeup applications and facials. She's excited to expand her knowledge and skills in airbrush tanning. Brenda enjoys spending time with her husband and their fur babies, family, crocheting, gardening and home improvements.

Darrien taylor thomson

Darrien is a loving mother to her two boys and brings new passion and drive to the salon. Although new to the industry she brings many talents to the team. Including color, box braids, and feed-in extensions, manicure and pedicures and facials. Darrien is very excited to get started and expand her horizons in lash extensions and airbrush tanning. She enjoys trying new things and expanding the services she offers.

Kayla Harry

Kayla has recently joined our team and she can't wait to pamper you all! she is very excited to put her skills and passion for this industry to work. She really enjoys blowouts and haircutting because of all the many different cuts and styles out there. She is also looking forward to growing her skills in all nail and skin care. Some of her hobbies outside of doing hair are spending time outdoors, her love of animals, reading, and playing piano.

Eli Flora

Growing up with both parents in the salon industry (Matt and Annette Flora of Matt Flora Hair Studio), Eli decided that after graduating from High School in 2023, he would try his hand in the industry! Taking an apprenticeship under Stephanie for nails, he wants to excel in his craft under her tutelage. He is excited to work with and get to know not only this but all the surrounding communities in this industry!

Trent

Please welcome Trent to our team. Trent has recently moved to the Allegan area from Washington. Trent has over 35 years of experience as a certified cosmetologist, Trent consults with his clients to customize the best hair style for them. He specializes in cuts, color, highlights and perms, whether for short, medium or long hair. He listens to what the client wants. Fun fact about Trent: he taught martial arts for a couple decades!

Stephanie jean hunderman

Stephanie has been in the industry for 18 years and loves every minute. She enjoys transforming clients from head to toe then seeing the smiles on their faces and seeing that they feel just as good on the outside as they do in the inside. Along with her husband Ben, they were able to renovate and open the full service salon and spa; Where the stylists are able to utilize their full cosmetology license offerings; hair, nails, and facial services. With recently adding air brush tanning to the services.
